The medical team is focused on implementing common anti-epidemic prevention with practical actions. Since arrival, the team has visited campuses, communities, and UN agencies in Namibia, conducted 14 free clinics, and provided high-quality medical services to 15,000 people. They were replaced by the 15th medical team on March 2, 2023. On March 18, 2022, the Chinese Embassy in Namibia recognized the 14th Chinese medical team at an honor ceremony to recognize groups and individuals who have made important contributions since the outbreak of coronavirus. They were awarded the honorary title of "Exemplary Group in the fight against COVID-19" (“抗击新冠疫情先进集体” in Chinese).
