Sichuan University holds urology lecture for staff of Maputo Central Hospital in 2019 (linked to Record ID#103680)

Project narrative

On August 1, 2019, the deputy director of Urology at Sichuan University, Professor Wang Kunjie, held a virtual lecture on the diagnosis and treatment of urethral structures for the staff of Maputo Central Hospital, as well as other hospitals in Mozambique. Following the lecture, the staff of Sichuan University and Maputo Central Hospital discussed plans for future telemedicine trainings and long-term cooperation. The lecture was preceded by a handover ceremony for a batch of remote consultation equipment donated by West China Hospital to Maputo Central Hospital (captured in Record ID#103680). The equipment was used to establish a remote consultation platform in Mozambique while making use of West China Hospital's existing telehealth network.
