Project narrative

On April 6, 2023, the Chinese embassy in Cabo Verde held a handover ceremony for a donation of security supplies to Cabo Verde Customs, on behalf of the Chinese government. The supplies included two scanners to be installed in airports and one mobile scanner. According to Olavo Correia, the vice prime minister and minister of finance of Cabo Verde, these supplies would help Cabo Verde to build a digitized customs agency. The monetary value of the supplies is unknown.
