Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On November 23, 2023, the 6th Chinese (Liaoning) medical aid team to The Gambia donated a batch of medical supplies valued at approx. GMD 513,000 to Bansang General Hospital on behalf of the Chinese Ministry of Health. The donation included urgently needed medicines, medical equipment, and consumables —including drugs, surgical gloves, absorbable sutures, and blood pressure machines. The handover ceremony held at the hospital was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health, Governor of Central River Region, and CEO of Bansang Hospital. Over the next few days, the 6th medical team offered free consultations, medications, and treatments to over 320 patients (captured in record ID#108907).
