Project narrative

On December 15, 2023, the Chinese Embassy donated SCR 100,000 to the Seychelles Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs to support the post-disaster reconstruction work after an explosion on December 7 in the Providence Industrial Zone. The funds will be used to help local resettlement efforts. The Chinese government also donation USD 100,000 for reconstruction after this disaster, captured in record #103813.
