Project narrative

From July 18 to 31, 2023, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce sponsored a two-week seminar on media convergence, communication strategies, and Chinese culture. The program was organized by Zhejiang Normal University and held in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province. Thirty-one journalists and media executives from 13 Belt and Road countries—including Lesotho—participated in the seminar. Over the course of two weeks, attendees engaged in lectures, site visits, discussion sessions, and cultural activities to learn about the role of media in public communication and China's economic and cultural development.
