Project narrative

On June 28, 2023, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided a disaster preparedness and mitigation grant to the National Disaster Management Authority (NaDMA) of Grenada. A formal handover ceremony took place in St. George’s, where Chinese Ambassador Wei Hongtian officially transferred the assistance package on behalf of the Chinese government. The aid was described as a financial contribution to support Grenada’s disaster prevention capabilities and resilience planning.
