Project narrative

On September 13, 2022, the Chinese Government announced a donation of $1 million USD to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) for the purpose of providing equitable, inclusive, quality basic education to Palestinian refugee school children. The UNRWA acknowledged that this donation will provide education to about 9,200 students in 19 schools in the West Bank for two months this year.
