Project narrative

On February 18, 2023, China provided preliminary training for Timor-Leste trainees from China's foreign aid training course for developing countries. This training course is the first offline foreign aid training course conducted by the Chinese government since the outbreak of COVID-19 and covers five specialized areas: development assistance, trade promotion, poverty reduction experience, reform and opening up experience, and cross-border experience (Source ID #203015). This training designed by the Chinese government is intended to help Timorese students learn about China's opening-up experience, as well as deepening understanding of China and inheriting and developing friendly relations with the Middle East.
