Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Oneida-Herkermer-Madison BOCES was established in 2010. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban), through the Hanban-Asia Society Confucius Classrooms Network, awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Oneida-Herkermer-Madison BOCES with a grant. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened in 2012. Bashu Secondary School (巴蜀中学) in Chongqing was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom.
