Project narrative

On June 7, 2023, a handover ceremony was held at St George Government Building in Nuku'alofa for 3 pickup trucks donated by China's Dongguan City to Tonga for use by its Ministry of Fire and Emergency Services. The brand of the trucks is JAC Motors and they have T6 motors. They are to be given to fire brigades in Ha'asini, Houma, and Leimatu'a in Vava'u. The trucks are worth RMB 1.248 million.
