Project narrative

On November 17, 2023, the Chinese government donated two vehicles to the Office of the Vice President of The Gambia. A handover ceremony was held at the State House in Banjul, where Chinese Ambassador H.E. Liu Jin presented a Chery Tiggo and a 14-seater Fonton View G9 Series Light Bus to Vice President Mohammed B.S. Jallow. The donation was made to symbolize the strong diplomatic ties between the two nations and support the daily operations and staff mobility of the Vice President’s Office. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
