Project narrative

On June 16, 2023, China donated medical equipments of 6 Holter ECGs and 6 laptops to Guido Valadare National Hospital (HNGV) to promote dynamic electrocardiogram examination projects in hospitals in Timor-Leste. This project is intended to strengthen healthcare service systems in HNGV and improve the quality of health service in Timor-Leste. These donated Holters will be used in detecting the heart diseases through heart monitoring. Ambassador Xu Dan yang stated China is committed to support healthcare and the HNGV in Timor-Leste continuously, and the Ministry of Health in Timor-Leste, Odete Maria Freitas Belo, expressed appreciation on China's support of medical equipments.
