Project narrative

On October 17th, Ambassador Han Jing attended the unveiling ceremony of a monument located at Brasaplein Square in the Nickerie Region as part of a series of activities in celebration of the 170th anniversary of Chinese settlement in Suriname. The monument was presented by the Suhua Federation (SCUA) and the Chinese Embassy. This ceremony was part of a series of celebrations to honor the 170th settlement anniversary.
