Project narrative

On November 24, 2023, there was a handover ceremony for the Chinese-donated police equipment to the Kiribati Police Service (KPS) at the Police Headquarters in Betio. Chinese Ambassador to Kiribati Zhou Limin, KPS Acting Commissioner Eeri Aritiera, officials from the Chinese Embassy, the Assistance Police team from China, and the Senior Management Group from KPS attended the handover ceremony. The batch of equipment included brass band equipment, mobile phones, tablets, traffic cones and vests, sports wear, etc. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
