Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Germantown Academy was established on October 9, 2009. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Germantown Academy with a grant. High School Attached to Capital Normal University (北京首师大附中) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on April 16, 2012.
