The Confucius Classroom at the Academy of International Studies at Rosemont was established on December 9, 2009. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Academy of International Studies at Rosemont with a grant. Changchun Foreign Languages School (长春外国语学校) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom.
