Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Lafayette School Corporation was established on February 12, 2010. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Lafayette School Corporation with a grant. The High School Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University (上海交通大学附属中学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. An MoU was signed between Lafayette School Corporation and the High School Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University on April 8, 2011. Oriental Cambridge Education Group (东方剑桥教育集团天通苑实验小学) was also listed as a partner organization.
