Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Cornerstone Academy was established on February 12, 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Cornerstone Academy with a grant. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on September 27, 2011 and it was the first Confucius Classroom to be opened in Northern California.
