Project narrative

On June 18, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Papua New Guinea held a reception for the eight PNG Table Tennis Association athletes that would be traveling to China for training ahead of the Pacific Games (held in the Solomon Islands in November 2023). The program is to last from June 30 to July 20, 2023, during which the players will receive training conducted by Chinese coaches. The training will occur at the China Table Tennis College (CTTC) of Shanghai University of Sport. The training program is designed to help improve the performance of the athletes as well as promote people-to-people cultural exchanges.
