Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at the Asian Cultural Center was established on June 3, 2008. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Asian Cultural Center in Manhattan, New York City with a grant. Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of The State Council (国侨办) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom.
