On January 10, 2022, Morocco's Ministry of Higher Education announced that China had opened its application for 100 scholarships. The application was due on April 15, 2022. The scholarship supported Morocco's master and PhD candidates to study at Beijing Institute of Technology during the academic year 2022–23, providing them with tuition waiver, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend.
