Staff comments

1. This project includes record ID #104339, the rice shipment which was received in April 2023. The handover ceremony for the entirety of the food donation, including both rice and wheat, was held on June 11th and is the subject of this record. I have not found any information about the wheat shipments specifically, or else I would have split this record into separate records for wheat and rice instead of having an umbrella record for both and a separate record for the rice donation only. The date of the rice shipment is listed for the commitment date and implementation date for this project because it is the earliest datable shipment. 2. The value was estimated assuming a price of USD $479.5 per metric tonne of rice (in April 2023, when the rice was delivered) and USD $282.28 per metric tonne of wheat (in June 2023, when the wheat was delivered by) according to Fred economic data: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/categories/32217
