Project narrative

On April 26, 2022, the Chinese Ambassador to Liberia visited the implementation site of the Chinese government-aided South-South Cooperation Health and Nutrition Project in Liberia. In November 2020, the Chinese government provided UNICEF with a designated fund of USD 1 million under the South-South Cooperation Fund project to support Liberia's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and provide basic medical, health and nutrition services to Liberian women and children. As of the visit on April 26, the project was in the implementation stage.
