The Confucius Classroom at Huntley High School at Consolidated School District 158 was established on September 9, 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Huntley High School with a grant. Zhongshan School Affiliated to Haunagpu Institute of Education(黄埔区教育学院附属中山学校) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom.
