Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Herricks Public Schools was established on June 23, 2009. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Herricks Public Schools with a grant. Shanghai United International School (上海协和双语国际学校) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom.
