Project narrative

On June 17, 2023, Chinese diaspora in Rwanda donated a batch of disaster relief to St. Paul Rurembo School Rwanda's Nyabihu district. The district was struck by severe floods and landslides earlier that year, which caused immense damage to the school hosting over 1,800 students. The donation ceremony was attended by Chinese ambassador Wang Xuekun, as well as Nyabihu's mayor Antoinette Mukandayisenga and around 200 representatives from the school. It has not been confirmed what is included in the donation, nor is its exact monetary value specified.
