Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On December 21, 2023, China sent its 24th medical team to Rwanda. The 15-member team took over from the outgoing 23rd team, which arrived a year prior. Chinese ambassador Wang Xuekun welcomed the new team and appreciated the hard work of the outgoing one. The arrival of the new team marked the continuation of China's effort to assist Rwanda with medical practices, with each team serving one year. Like their predecessors, the members of the 24th team will work at Masaka Hospital in Rwanda's capital Kigali and Kibungo Hospital in the Eastern Province.
