Project narrative

On June 21, 2023, the Chinese embassy in Trinidad and Tobago donated a mobile blood donation vehicle to the North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) in Trinidad and Tobago (see source ID #204447). The vehicle will aid in supporting the Health Ministry's efforts in collecting blood donations, which they estimated to attract about 20,000 people donating blood annually. While the full value of the vehicle is unknown, the Ministry of Health stated that China had donated TTD 1,380,000.00 in March 2022 to support the cost of the donation vehicle (see source ID #206015).
