Project narrative

On August 25, 2023, Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu Li Minggang attended the launch ceremony for the first Chinese police expert group to Vanuatu to analyze its police capabilities and infrastructure requirements. The same day, the ambassador attended the handover ceremony of a batch of police supplies to improve the law enforcement conditions of the Vanuatu police (see record ID #104567). After arriving in Vanuatu, the expert group assisted the Vanuatu Police Force and offered police capacity training to community-level policing on the islands of Santo and Efate.
