Project narrative

On November 21, 2023, the Chinese government donated a second batch of police supplies (worth VUV 27 million) to Vanuatu, which included electronic data forensics laboratory equipment. The grant also included a 16-seater bus, a boxing ring, boxing gloves, punchbags, and fighting gear for the Vanuatu Police Force. (Linked to Record ID #104567).

1) Source #205054 (a Facebook post by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Vanuatu) reports a different value of the 2nd batch of police supplies: VUV 9.83 million. The amount used is VUV 27 million, which comes from other Facebook posts written by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Vanuatu and the Vanuatu Ministry of Internal Affairs on the day the batch was received.
