Project narrative

In June 2023, Hunan Construction Investment International Trade Co., Ltd. was awarded an EUR 200 million contract for Phase 3 of the ZIGA II Water Plant Project in Burkina Faso. Then, on July 1, 2023, China Construction Bank agreed in principle to provide $350 million of financing for three projects in Africa, one of which was Phase 3 of the ZIGA II Water Plant Project. The Ziga II Project aims to meet the demand for drinking water and to expand access to drinking water in the outlying districts of the city of Ouagadougou.
