Project narrative

On or around March 24, 2003, the Government of Malaysia signed a $375 million term loan agreement for unspecified purposes with a syndicate of banks. The loan was arranged by Barclays Capital, Citigroup/SSB, Maybank, Standard Chartered and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. United Overseas Bank contributed $100 million, while OCBC contributed $80 million, Bank of China (Hong Kong) contributed $50 million, and ICBC contributed $50 million. Bank of China (Hong Kong)'s contribution is captured via Record ID#104668 and ICBC's contribution is captured via Record ID#104669. The borrowing terms of the loan are unknown.
