In August 2012, China Road & Bridge Corporation agreed to sponsor plane tickets and incidentals for two Serbian students studying in China. The students attend Karlovici Gymnasium (Serbian:Карловачка гимназија) and would leave for China on September 8. In total CRBC paid for two plane tickets and 2,000 euros in additional expenses. The students were awarded scholarships through the "Chinese Bridge" scholarship competition.
