Project narrative

On October 27, 2023, the Government of China donated medicine and medical equipment to Prince Regent Charles Hospital, Gitega Regional Hospital, and Mpanda Hospital in Burundi. The reception ceremony was held in Bujumbura, attended by Burundian Ministry of Health officials and representatives from the Chinese Embassy. The type and total value of the donation were not disclosed. China had made similar medical donations to Prince Regent Charles Hospital and Gitega Regional Hospital in October 2022 (see Record ID#102281).
