Project narrative

On November 28, 2023, Shenzhen Polytechnic University and Côte d'Ivoire's Félix Houphouët-Boigny National Polytechnic Institute ("Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny" or "INP-HB") held a signing ceremony for the joint construction of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Center ("技术和职业教育培训中心") in room 101 of Shenzhen Polytechnic's Mingde building. This would be the 10th overseas vocational institute built by Shenzhen Polytechnic University, the others being in Malaysia, Bulgaria, Germany, Ukraine, Belarus, Finland, Brazil, and other countries. This is part of the Chinese Ministry of Education's "Future Africa" China-Africa Joint Training Program for Applied Talents ("未来非洲—中非应用型人才联合培养项目"), started in 2021.
