China Southern Power Grid Corporation constructed ancillary facilities for the China-Lao Friendship School it built in Hatnam Village in 2020. The new facilities include a kitchen, bathhouse, and a supporting solar water supply system. According to KPL, the Laos News Agency, these facilities cost USD 30,000. A handover ceremony for these facilities was held on December 28, 2022.
