Project narrative

On December 13, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago donated 150 food hampers to low-income families across multiple communities, including Laventille, Morvant, Beetham Gardens, Blanchisseuse, Sangre Grande, Carenage, Diego Martin, Petit Valley, Chaguanas, Couva, Moruga, and Cedros. The donation was distributed via the local NGO Kids In Need of Direction (K.I.N.D.). A handover ceremony was held at K.I.N.D.’s office in Laventille. The total monetary value of the donation was not disclosed.
