Project narrative

On November 1, 2023, the Chinese ambassador to Vanuatu Li Minggang met with Vanuatu's Prime Minister Charlot Salwai to declare China’s willingness to help Vanuatu with disaster relief and recovery efforts after Tropical Cyclone Lola. The Chinese embassy mobilized a batch of disaster relief aid worth VUV 23 million, including iron sheets, rice, solar power lamps, and more.
