Project narrative

On April 12, 2022, launched the second Chinese language course at Juba Teaching Hospital in South Sudan. The course was planned to be held over the course of three-months for over 40 staff members of Juba Teaching Hospital. The course was intended to promote cooperation between South Sudan and China by teaching South Sudanese medical workers about the Chinese language, culture, medicine, and cuisine. The second Chinese language course at Juba Teaching Hospital concluded on July 20, 2022. In total, 58 South Sudanese medics completed the second phase of Chinese medical language course. The preceding 8th Chinese Medical Team to South Sudan previously held the first Chinese language training program at Juba Teaching Hospital in September 2021.
