Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On April 4th, 2022, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Colombia made a donation of biosecurity supplies to support the work carried out by the District Public Health Secretariat in the territory. The donation delivered by the Chinese embassy includes 13 thousand pairs of NBR gloves, 140 thousand disposable surgical masks and a thousand protective suits to overcome events that put local health at risk. The monetary value of these items is unknown. On mid-March 2022, the Mayor's Office of Cali and Tianjin, a city in the People's Republic of China, virtually signed a letter of intent to establish relations of cooperation and friendship. This document strengthens relations between the parties and provides a qualitative leap in innovation and productive diversification, setting the stage for the donation that occurred in April.
