In September 2021, the Chinese Government donated equipment including desktop computers and video cameras to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sierra Leone. In the 2021 annual report by Audit Service Sierra Leone, it was noted that the donated assets were not made available for physical verification.
