Project narrative

In 2010, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) provided a RMB 460,000 (~USD 68,000) grant to a home for abandoned children in Quito, Ecuador. The donation financed the medical treatment of 293 children with leukemia and 399 children with physical disabilities. The funds were disbursed as part of CNPC’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Ecuador, where the company operates oil concessions.
