Project narrative

On February 28, 2022, a handover ceremony was held for the donation of medical devices and medicine by the 28th Chinese medical team to the Sino-Congolese Friendship Hospital in Mfilou and the Chinese Embassy. The donation, estimated to be valued at FCFA 10 million, included medications, operating tables, laundry materials, stomatology materials, biometric cabins, dental chairs, x-ray consumables, and carbons. Present at the ceremony were representatives of the World Health Organization in the Republic of Congo, and the United Nations Children's Fund in Congo, and the Joint United Nations Program on AIDS in Congo. This donation was preceded by a donation of medical supplies from the Pointe Noire division of the 28th Chinese medical team which is based Loandjili General Hospital in Pointe Noire.
