Project narrative

On March 21, 2022, China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the Government of Pakistan signed an RMB 13.5 million grant agreement for the Joint Agricultural Tech Lab Equipment Project. The purpose of this project was to provide equipment to help establish the Pakistan China Joint Lab for Artificial Intelligence and Smart Agriculture (AI&SA) has been established at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) in Punjab Province. The AI&SA was officially established in May 2024.
