Project narrative

On December 23, 2015, Wuxi Business School awarded scholarships totaling RMB 800,000 (~USD 127,000) to 9 Cambodian students. A ceremony was held on campus with officials from the school and the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone (SSEZ). The scholarship covered 3 years of education, along with travel and living expenses. The SSEZ and Wuxi Business School also signed an agreement to jointly train Cambodian international students.

Staff comments

1. Although the scholarship ceremony was held at Wuxi Business School, funding is attributed to the Wuxi Municipal Government as the school is a public institution under its jurisdiction.
