On November 30, 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad awarded PKR 5.4 million (~USD 33,139) in scholarships to deserving students of the University of Peshawar through the China Study Center. The awards were part of the annual China Embassy Scholarship initiative, which supports academic research and student development related to China-Pakistan relations. The China Study Center focuses on regional cooperation, particularly among China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
