Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In 2018, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina) donated $25,000 to the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA). The funds were used to acquire three photographs by Leandro Katz, a key figure in Latin American conceptual art, during the arteBA art fair. This marks the third consecutive year ICBC Argentina donated to MALBA’s acquisition fund, supporting Chinese engagement with Argentina’s cultural sector.
