Project narrative

On March 7, 2022, the 22nd Chinese Medical Team in Cameroon donated a batch of acupuncture supplies worth 43,445,392 CFA to the Gyneco-Obstetric and Pediatric Hospital of Yaoundé. The 22nd Chinese medical team to Cameroon (captured in Record ID#99656) completed its service between April 24, 2022 and June 10, 2023 at the Gynaeco-Obstetric and Pediatric Hospital of Yaoundé and the Mbalmayo District Hospital. During their time in Cameroon, the team held several free clinics, completed 17,519 outpatient visits and 838 inpatient visits, and promoted the use of Chinese traditional medicine.
