Project narrative

On September 22, 2023, the Chinese government donated aid materials to the Tunisian Ministry of the Interior for maintaining security and safety. The donation consisted of 10 ambulances, 80 motorcycles, two maritime container detection trucks, a fixed gate for car detection and 11 X-ray detection machines (Source ID #210521). According to the Chinese Embassy in Tunisia, this donation was a part of Xi Jinping's Global Security Initiative proposed in 2022 as a way to grow Tunisia's security capabilities (Source ID # 208491)
